Pilot

In high school, I took this AP Spanish class, and we talked about existentialism, IN SPANISH.  It was pretty intense.  Anyway, this one Spanish poet (can't remember his name, but if I do, I will come back and add it in) said that everything you think/say/ or write is censored.  He said that even if you write what you are thinking in a diary, your conscience is still not allowing you to write what you actually think.  So basically it is impossible to ever show anyone else a true reflection of yourself.  Pretty deep for the first post huh?  I thought it was relevant, however.

So being my first year at college, (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA) (GO MUSTANGS) I still have trouble getting to sleep at night.  I don't have insomnia, I think I just think too much.  Last night, I was trying to get to sleep and I started doing this stupid thing.  I don't know if anyone else out there is an over thinker, but here is one of the symptoms: making up hypothetical situations, and trying to solve them, preferably using your quick wit and undeniable charm.  So I started thinking of things like, what if I wake up in the morning and my arm is completely purple? Do I try to cover it with makeup? Do I wear long sleeves?  Do I go to the hospital? What if I forget my arm is purple, get introduced to some really hot guy, and shake his hand, and then he's like "woah, what's wrong with your hand, freak?"
So far, all I've come up with is to pee my pants and run in the other direction.  I'm open to better suggestions.
